Timed holds and releases — follow the rep counter in the mirror.
Face Yoga Guide
Mouth-Corner Lateral Index Stretch anchors both corners with index pads and applies gentle outward traction for controlled commissure training.
On the cover, both index fingertips anchor directly at mouth corners while lips hold a horizontal line. That creates a lateral corner-stretch cue, different from Lip Corner Resistance Press (outward press against resistance), Mouth-Corner Index Stretch (softer parted-lip cue), and Lip Pucker Firming (forward projection).
Sit upright with neutral neck. Place both index pads exactly at the mouth corners. Keep lips softly sealed in a horizontal line. Apply very light outward traction with index pads (about 2/10) and hold four seconds while keeping jaw unlocked. Release two seconds. Repeat eight cycles. Do not over-smile or yank corners; control isometric length only.
Mirror at eye level, shoulders down, chin level. Set pads first, then apply tiny lateral traction.
Inhale as index pads settle at corners. Exhale during four-second lateral hold. Release and soften lips on inhale.
Short mirror phrases — calm, specific, easy to repeat between reps.
"Corners only."
"Tiny outward line."
"No hard grin."
"Jaw soft."
