Timed holds and releases — follow the rep counter in the mirror.
Face Yoga Guide
Petite Oral O Hold shapes a smaller rounded O with lips gently forward for four-second holds across eight reps, then closes slowly. It trains precise lip-ring control with less width than Wide Oral O. Skip painful TMJ lock, acute dental infection, or until cleared after oral procedures.
On the cover, the mouth shapes a smaller rounded O: lips gently forward and rounded, little or no teeth show, cheeks softly drawn, eyes calm, hands free. That petite oral O is the drill — different from Wide Oral O Hold (a wider Ah/O with a larger oral cavity show), Soft Jaw Drop Open (softer oval for hinge mobility with less lip rounding), and Lip U Whistle Hold (narrow whistle/U shape).
Sit tall at an eye-level mirror. Soften the brows and drop the shoulders. Shape a smaller rounded O like the cover — lips gently forward, modest open, without forcing a wide Ah or a full dental grin. Hold four seconds. Close slowly for three seconds until the lips meet softly. Repeat eight times. Do not tip the head back to fake height and do not slam the teeth shut on the close.
Mirror at eye level. Head stacked. Soften brows first — then shape the petite rounded O like the cover, hands free.
Inhale through the nose before the petite O. Exhale softly while you hold the round shape. Close on a quiet breath without a teeth slam.
Short mirror phrases — calm, specific, easy to repeat between reps.
“Small rounded O — lips gently forward.”
“Hands free.”
“Four seconds — then slow close.”
“No head tip, no slam.”
Realistic checkpoints — form, sleep, and SPF still matter more than any single drill.
A clean petite O feels easier to hold evenly on most weeks.
Controlled open rounding may feel smoother when posture is steady.
Petite O form feels automatic. Structural joint issues still need clinical care.
A maintenance oral-control set. Supports awareness; does not replace TMJ treatment.
Form cues, safety notes, and how this drill differs from nearby guides.
Wide Oral O shows a larger Ah/O with more oral cavity. Petite Oral O keeps a smaller forward-rounded ring like the cover — control first, width later.
Soft Jaw Drop is a gentler oval for hinge mobility with less lip rounding. Petite O emphasizes a clear small lip ring.
Lip U is a narrow whistle/U shape. Petite O is a small rounded open — different width and lip contour.
Small enough to match the cover’s petite rounded O — not your widest Ah. Stop before hinge pain.
Usually little or none like the cover. Focus on the rounded lip ring, not a dental grin.
Gentle controlled opening can ease a sticky hinge for some people. Painful TMJ needs clinical guidance — never force through pain.
Five short sets of about eight holds. Consistency beats aggressive stretching.
Only when your injector clears opening and rounding. Early product days are a skip.
Watch the weaker side in the mirror and rebuild an even smaller circle before going taller.
No. This drill is hands-free like the cover.
Optional. Many people finish with one wider O to feel the contrast after control work.
Notice the small O looking rounder and more even in weekly photos. Precise shape clarity is the win.
