Timed holds and releases — follow the rep counter in the mirror.
Face Yoga Guide
Forehead Inner-Brow Pinch Anchor uses a soft thumb–index pinch at the start of both eyebrows near the glabella for four-second holds across eight reps. It cues a quieter frown zone with a clear bilateral landmark. Skip rash, fresh glabella procedures until cleared, or painful scalp allodynia.
On the cover, both hands meet the inner brow starts: thumb and index gently pinch the soft tissue at the beginning of each eyebrow near the glabella bridge — index above, thumb lightly under the brow start — elbows open, gaze calm. That inner-brow pinch anchor is the placement — different from Glabella Point Press (a single point press at center glabella), Forehead Brow-Pinch Smooth (pinch folds higher on the brow line), and Outer Brow Tail Pinch (pinch at the outer brow tails).
Sit tall at an eye-level mirror. Soften the jaw and drop the shoulders. With both hands, gently pinch the soft tissue at the start of each eyebrow — index pad above the brow start, thumb lightly under — match the cover. Pressure about 2/10. Hold four seconds while you intend the frown zone to soften, not yank. Optional: after the hold, glide once slowly outward along the brow line, then return. Release two seconds. Complete eight holds. Never dig into the orbital bone or pinch hard enough to bruise.
Mirror at eye level. Shoulders down. Set soft thumb–index pinches at both brow starts before any hold — match the cover.
Inhale as both thumb–index pinches settle at the brow starts. Exhale during the four-second soften hold. Keep the jaw unlocked — no teeth clench.
Short mirror phrases — calm, specific, easy to repeat between reps.
“Soft pinch at both brow starts.”
“Two out of ten — soften, don’t bruise.”
“Stay off the eye socket.”
“Jaw unlocked.”
Realistic checkpoints — form, sleep, and SPF still matter more than any single drill.
The frown zone feels less clenched after screen blocks on most weeks.
Rested photos may look a touch softer between the brows when sleep is steady.
Inner-brow pinch form feels automatic. Deep etched lines still need broader care.
A maintenance brow-start set. Supports ease; does not replace clinical care.
Form cues, safety notes, and how this drill differs from nearby guides.
Point Press uses a single center point at the glabella. Inner-Brow Pinch Anchor uses a soft thumb–index pinch at both brow starts like the cover.
Brow-Pinch Smooth often grips soft folds higher along the brow line. This drill stays specifically at the inner brow starts near the bridge.
Outer Brow Tail Pinch works the outer tails. Here the pinch lands at the inner brow starts near the bridge.
At the beginning of each eyebrow near the glabella bridge — index above, thumb lightly under — match the cover.
About 2/10. Comfortable contact is enough. Bone ache or white marks means too hard.
It can ease a tight, screen-held frown look. Etched lines still need SPF, sleep, and broader care.
Five short sets of about eight holds. Quality soft anchors beat daily hard pinching.
Only when your clinician clears glabella and brow touch. Early product days are a skip.
Keep pressure even and watch the tighter side in the mirror between holds.
Optional. Beginners can stay with still holds. One slow outward stroke is plenty if you add it.
Move slightly up onto the brow start and lighten. Stay off the orbital rim.
Notice how quickly the frown zone softens after a screen block when the pinch stays light. That quiet ease is the win.
