Timed holds and releases — follow the rep counter in the mirror.
Face Yoga Guide
Forehead Midline Two-Pad Meet places index and middle pads at the forehead midline so fingertips nearly meet, thumbs free upward, for four-second soft holds across eight reps. It softens midline frontalis tension with a clear two-pad landmark. Skip rash, fresh forehead procedures until cleared, or scalp allodynia.
On the cover, both hands meet at the forehead midline: index and middle pads of each hand rest flat and nearly touch at center just above the brows, thumbs point freely upward near the temples without pressing the face, gaze calm and open. That two-pad midline meet is the placement — different from Forehead Center Pad Press (three pads per hand at center, often eyes soft-closed), Forehead Midline Smooth-Out (pads gliding outward), and Forehead Jaw-Anchor Smooth (pads above brow tails with jaw thumbs).
Sit tall at an eye-level mirror. Soften the jaw and drop the shoulders. Place the pads of both index and middle fingers on the forehead midline just above the brows so the fingertips nearly meet — match the cover. Keep ring and pinky curled softly; thumbs point freely upward without digging into the temples. Pressure about 2/10. Hold four seconds while you intend the center forehead to soften, not scrape toward the hairline. Release two seconds. Optional: after the hold, glide once slowly toward each temple, then return to center. Complete eight holds. Never pinch a brow fold or drag dry skin hard.
Mirror at eye level. Shoulders down. Set both two-pad meets at the forehead midline with thumbs free upward before any hold — match the cover.
Inhale as the two pads settle at center. Exhale during the four-second soften hold. Keep the jaw unlocked — no teeth clench.
Short mirror phrases — calm, specific, easy to repeat between reps.
“Two pads meet at center.”
“Thumbs free upward.”
“Two out of ten — soften, don’t scrape.”
“Jaw unlocked.”
Realistic checkpoints — form, sleep, and SPF still matter more than any single drill.
Center forehead feels less clenched after screen blocks on most weeks.
Rested photos may look a touch softer above the brows when sleep is steady.
Midline meet form feels automatic. Deep etched lines still need broader care.
A maintenance midline set. Supports ease; does not replace clinical care.
Form cues, safety notes, and how this drill differs from nearby guides.
Center Pad Press uses three pads per hand at the midline. This drill uses only index and middle pads meeting at center with thumbs free upward like the cover.
Smooth-Out emphasizes the outward glide. Two-Pad Meet is primarily a still center hold; a single glide after is optional.
Jaw-Anchor places pads above the brow tails with thumbs under the jaw. Here the pads meet at the midline and thumbs stay free upward.
On the forehead midline just above the brows so the fingertips nearly meet — not deep in the hairline and not a glabella pinch.
They point freely upward near the temples like the cover. Do not press them hard into the face.
About 2/10. Comfortable contact is enough. Bone ache or white marks means too hard.
It can ease a tight, screen-held look. Etched lines still need SPF, sleep, and broader care.
Five short sets of about eight holds. Quality soft meets beat daily hard scraping.
Only when your clinician clears forehead touch. Early product days are a skip.
Optional. The cover shows a calm open gaze. Close only if it helps you soften without frowning.
Lighten the pads and unlock the jaw. The forehead softens; the brows do not hike to help.
Notice how quickly the center forehead softens after a screen block when the pads stay light. That quiet ease is the win.
